Marissa earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!) in 2020 before pursuing her legal education at Drake University Law School.
During her time at Drake University Law School, Marissa was an integral part of the Negotiations Competition Team, honing her skills in negotiation strategies and tactics. This experience has equipped her with the ability to effectively advocate for her clients' interests through negotiation. Marissa also served as a student attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic, where she had the opportunity to work directly with clients, provide legal advice, and handle various legal matters. This hands-on experience allowed her to develop a strong understanding of the practical aspects of the law and provided her with the opportunity to make a positive impact on her clients' lives.
